Criminal Investigations

The sections included in Investigations are Detectives Unit, Internet Sex Crime Unit, Intelligence Unit, & Narcotics Unit.

Detectives Unit:  This unit investigates all major crimes in St. Landry Parish.

Internet Crimes Unit: This unit investigates all internet crime, includes internet fraud crimes as well as sexual predators using the internet to make contact with their victims.

Intelligence Unit: This unit is gathers all pertinent information on individuals involved in criminal activity as well as the exchange of criminal intelligence information through out the United States .

Narcotics Unit: Investigates all illegal narcotic activities in the parish and conducts covert investigations in an effort to curb the drug traffic within St. Landry Parish.
