As Chief Law Enforcement Officer of St. Landry Parish, the Sheriff appoints a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all activities of the Business Office and the collection of all taxes, fines and bonds, parish licenses, and any other fees and activities designated by the Sheriff.
Accounts Payable
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for verifying and processing all purchase orders and invoices on a daily basis. Vendors are paid at the end of each month.
Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office receives all fees and revenues that are due to the department.
